Momo are Nepalese dumplings, hand-rolled and filled with spiced chicken or vegetables. We serve them steamed, in chilli sauce, in jhol (soup) and sadeko style. Read more in our momo guide.

What’s the difference between Indian and Nepalese food?

Nepalese food leans on chargrilling, fermented flavours, timur (Sichuan-style) pepper and lighter, brothier dishes like jhol momo, while North Indian food is known for rich, creamy, tandoor-led curries. We cook both. Here’s our full comparison.
